SERDANG, August 6 – The third day of the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA) 2022 has witnessed the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) booth receiving a good response from visitors to check out the exhibition of innovative products from UPM researchers.
UPM Vice-Chancellor, YH. Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, expressed his contentment and satisfaction with the presence of visitors and hoped that more people would attend.
He attended the MAHA 2022 Opening Ceremony officiated by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), and he said his visit and the public’s to the UPM booth boosted the spirit of UPM researchers.
"So far, I have seen the crowded situation at the UPM exhibition booth and am very satisfied. This visit will encourage our researchers to continue to produce quality agricultural products.
"I hope visitors will be able to come and stop by the UPM booth because there are many products resulting from UPM’s research that produces agricultural-based products.
"I am very grateful to all the UPM staff who work hard to take care of the UPM exhibition," he said.
He also had the opportunity to mingle with the UPM booth staff and visitors who came to see UPM's innovative products.
UPM participated in MAHA 2022 by featuring 14 innovative products in three categories, namely livestock, crops and food technology.
The interested public can visit the UPM exhibition and meet our experts in Hall A, booth A14.
Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif Ismail, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Nazamid Saari, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Community Network), Prof. Ir. Dr. B.T. Hang Tuah Baharudin and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nur Azura Adam. - UPM.
