UPM receives visit from Jeonbuk National University and collaborates in agriculture

SERDANG, July 13 - A total of 34 delegates from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea, have visited Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to establish collaboration in the field of agriculture.

UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, said the delegation visit from Jeonbuk National University was an initiative to exchange knowledge and strengthen existing MoU and MoA.

“Among the initiatives implemented is the Jeonbuk National University student exchange programme to UPM, which is a very good one, because they can gain knowledge in the field of agriculture with the Malaysian climate.

“Therefore, UPM hopes with this collaboration, the number of students participating in the exchange programme at UPM can be further increased, benefitting both Jeonbuk National University and UPM,” he said.
