UPM’s Registrar Office wins Creanova Lean 2017 special award

SHAH ALAM – The Office of Registrar, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), won a Creanova Lean 2017 special award in a function held by Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) at the Grand Blue Wave Hotel in Shah Alam recently.

The Registrar's Office was represented by Miss Siti Ima Munirah Ahmad as chairman of the Lean project team who presented a project, entitled Lean Staff Data Preparation Process for the Purpose of annual increment for university staff.

UPM received a cash prize of RM1,000, a trophy and a certificate presented by MPC Director-General, Dato 'Mohd. Razali Hussin.

Creanova Lean is an annual event organized by the MPC as a platform to share experiences and results from the implementation of LEAN projects, and in recognition of LEAN projects that have been successfully implemented by government agencies and private companies throughout the country.

Some 30 agencies from both private and public sectors participated in the competition that also gives recognitions for Best Project Award and the Best Kaizen award.
