SERDANG, Dec 18 – The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Senator Dato’ Ti Lian Ker, has officiated the Malaysia Outdoor Recreation Carnival (MOREC) 2021 here.
MOREC 2021 took place for two days from December 18 to 19, 2021 and was organised by the National Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in collaboration with the Malaysian Outdoor Recreation Instructor Association (PJRM) and FPAS, UPM.
The carnival is an effective platform for recreational practitioners and academics where they will present practical papers, concept papers, and research results presentations in line with the current trends.
Also present at the event were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Prof. Dr. Nazamid Saari; Dean, Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FPAS), UPM, Prof. Dr. Hazandy Abd. Hamid; Director-General, National Youth and Sports Department, Dato’ Hajah Wasitah Haji Mohd Yusof; Deputy Director-General of Sports Development Division, National Youth and Sports Department, Mr. Mohd Azhari Mohammad; Dean, Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation, UiTM Shah Alam, Prof. Dr. Mohad Anizu Mohd Nor, and the President of the Malaysian Outdoor Recreation Instructor Association. - UPM
