SERDANG, Jan 12 - His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Emeritus Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ir. Muhamad Zohadie Bardaie have been announced as the new Pro-Chancellors of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The announcement was made by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, who is also UPM Chancellor, at the 44th UPM Convocation Ceremony held at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Culture and Arts Centre here.

He hoped the appointments would propel UPM's excellence to a higher level in the future.

Meanwhile, Academician Emeritus Prof. Tan Sri Dr. Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim was re-appointed as a Pro-Chancellor.

All the appointments last for three years, from October 18, 2021, to October 17, 2024. - UPM
