Friends of UPM Mosque chairman, Bukryman Sabri, said the Ziarah Ihsan Ramadan Programme to the Orang Asli settlement at Pos Poi, Sungai Siput was held on May 17 to deliver basic necessities to 239 needy families and asnaf Orang Asli community in seven villages there.

Sahabat Masjid UPM also contributed Ramadan Aid in the form of basic necessities to 20 students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pandan Jaya, who are from poor and asnaf families on May 19.

Bukryman said the contribution is hoped to ease the burden on the families and cheer them up for Hari Raya celebration.

Sahabat Masjid UPM also contributed meals for Iftar to 40 frontliners combating Covid-19, who are medical staff at the Serdang Hospital Pediatric Ward, on May 20. The Serdang Hospital Pediatric Ward is the adopted ward of Sahabat Masjid UPM.
