SERDANG, 5 Nov - National rugby player, Nazuridin Abd Latiff obtained his Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) at the 41st Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
He admitted that it was a challenge for him as at the same time, he needed to represent the country in various rugby tournaments.
He said dividing the time between studies and sports needed to be done wisely, apart from having to make a lot of sacrifices to succeed in both fields.
Nazuridin who had represented the country in various tournaments including the Asian Rugby Championship 2017, Rugby Seven at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and Singapore SEA Games 2015, said education is of utmost importance since one’s involvement as an athlete would not last long.
Therefore, he said, although he practiced a lot, he would never abandon his studies.
"I tried to give my best both in the field or in the classroom," said the fifth child of six siblings who expressed his appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tengku Fadilah Tengku Kamalden for his success. - UPM
